It's a new year and a as such a lot of new things are going to happen. The beginning of a new year gives you the oportunity to look back at the year that went, and reflect on it. What worked and what didn't work? Did you reach your goals? And if not, what can you do better?
I believe that looking back at the year that went can help you make the year in front of you even better.
For me, looking back at the year that went was a bit sad. I didn't reach many of the goals I had and I failed where I shouldn't have. But that is life, I guess. Sometimes we fail, and all we can do is pick ourselves up and try again, hoping to learn from our mistakes.
So for 2018 I have set myself some new goals, and this time, I'm determined to keep them. They aren't complicated goals, but they are what I want to do with my writing life in 2018. Small steps, right?
Of course goals doesn't just happen, they take work. To help with that I'm planning more than usual. Not my novels, but my time. I've already got each month planned with things for blogging and social media and I'm slowly adding to it every week. My plan is to build a whole social media archive I can use every day to keep up with everything.
So, that's my goals for the new year.
A writer's life
This is the blog where a slightly crazy author writes rambling posts about everything and nothing. There are posts about cooking, books, and movies. There's funny stuff, videos, and music. And sometimes there's even snippets, updates on books and other interesting reader stuff. Because if nothing else, this writer's life is never boring.
