Happy beer day.
Today is international beer day.
Denmark is a country who love out beer. We got a lot of breweries all over, some
More known than others.
Carlsberg is pretty well known over big parts of the world. It's an old company, credited with coming up with a lot of interesting things.
It was founded in 1847 just outside Copenhagen and still remains there today. There they invented a lot of things in their laboratory that's helped breweries all over the world. They also invented stuff like the ph scale.
But Denmark is more than just Carlsberg.
In fact, tiny little Denmark had last year (2017) around 190 breweries.
We brew everything from normal pilsner, to dark dark heavy stouts, to fruity light summer beers.
We love variety.
So, enjoy your Friday, and go out and celebrate beer day with your favorite brew.
A writer's life
This is the blog where a slightly crazy author writes rambling posts about everything and nothing. There are posts about cooking, books, and movies. There's funny stuff, videos, and music. And sometimes there's even snippets, updates on books and other interesting reader stuff. Because if nothing else, this writer's life is never boring.
