I can't comment on the general writing population, but for me snacking is the biggest sin I'm commiting when writing. It's like this irresistable need that when I'm really in the groove, my brain screams for something nice and sugary to please my tastebuds.
Often, I can quell the need with more coffee and maybe a slice of bread with cheese- because we all know cheese is fucking awesome.
But once in a while the need is just to great and I have to run to the store to get something to satisfy the craving. Because yes, I'm one of those people who can't have sweets in the house without eating them in like three minutes.
And really, I'm not difficult. I can eat everything from cake to cookies, to chocolate and salty licorice (I'm Danish after all, and we Danes love salty licorice).
In the town I'm living in, it's hard to get your hands on good donuts, though. Like, really hard. You can buy donuts, but they are more often than not boring, dry and not worth the money. So my donut cravings are satisfied like ones a year, but that's okay. I'm pretty sure I would be very, very overweight if I had access to Donuts every day.
So, what's your favorite sweet snack?
Have a great day,
A writer's life
This is the blog where a slightly crazy author writes rambling posts about everything and nothing. There's posts about my books, writing and social media. Posts about cooking and reviews. And there's posts about life.
Please notice: I do not earn money on this blog. I do not have affiliated links, and I'm not paid by any product I might mention on this blog. I'm just an artist who loves to blog. If you want to support me, buying one of my books would warm my heart. If they aren't to your taste, then support another indie artist instead.
We could all need your help.
Thank you <3
