And that means you.
Nothing makes me as happy as knowing you are reading my books, my blog posts, or any other social media update out there.
You freaking rock.
You will hear people say that they don't care about people reading their books. That they are just writing for themselves. And yes, in some regards that is true. We all write books that we in some way want to read. We write the stories we like.
But every time you see an author talking about comments, reviews, and fan mail, it's because what we love, what makes our day brighter, is knowing we somehow connected with one of you. It just makes everything better.
Even if 'all' we get is a "This is awesome" or "I really liked this character" or "what a great picture" it means that all our work, all the hours spent working and planning and thinking and ripping hair out trying to edit a book, wasn't all for nothing.
So, if you want to make an author happy, leave a comment, send them a message, retweet them or link to them.
It means a million smiles to us.
Have a great day
A writer's life
This is the blog where a slightly crazy author writes rambling posts about everything and nothing. There's posts about my books, writing and social media. Posts about cooking and reviews. And there's posts about life and the challenges I have set myself in 2019.
Please notice: I do not earn money on this blog. I do not have affiliated links, and I'm not paid by any product I might mention on this blog. I'm just an artist who loves to blog. If you want to support me, buying one of my books would warm my heart. If they aren't to your taste, then support another indie artist instead.
We could all need your help.
Thank you <3
