I think most writers know the feeling. We keep every little scrap of paper we ever wrote an idea on. We have folders filled with words and words and words. We refuse to delete anything, because what if we’re suddenly in a situation where we could use that discarded paragraph? Oh the horror.
And then sometimes we get nostalgic and start reading some of these discarded ideas and weird chapters. And we’re suddenly faced with the ghosts of writings past.
It can be quite the horror show filled with bad spelling, grammar mistakes, and so many cliches. And sometimes we’re lucky and find a little piece of gold.
But mostly, these old writings shows us just how much we have grown as authors and writers. How we have evolved and changed.
Have you visited the ghosts of writings past lately?
Have a great day :)
A writer's life
This is the blog where a slightly crazy author writes rambling posts about everything and nothing. There's posts about my books, writing and social media. Posts about cooking and reviews. And there's posts about life and the challenges I have set myself in 2019.
Please notice: I do not earn money on this blog. I do not have affiliated links, and I'm not paid by any product I might mention on this blog. I'm just an artist who loves to blog. If you want to support me, buying one of my books would warm my heart. If they aren't to your taste, then support another indie artist instead.
We could all need your help.
Thank you <3
