“If your office plant could talk, what would it say about you?”
So, today’s post is gonna be a little bit silly. I saw this on pinterest and thought it was a fun little thing to post about.
I mostly write at my dinning room table. I do have a very pretty old desk, but because it’s old it’s not the best to work at so I mostly use it for storing my computer when not working. And on my dinning room table, I got these two little cute plants. They are small enough to not take up too much room, and they fit my salt and pepper set perfectly <3
So, what would they say if they could talk?
Well, they would probably say that I sit at my computer too much. I do spend a lot of time in front of the screen. Between blogging, writing, editing, social media, updating websites and procrastinating, I spend a lot of my day in front of the screen. Less when my kids are here, more when they are with their dad.
And they would protest me forgetting to water them. I’m so bad a watering my plants and I generally can only keep things that are green alive. Add flowers to the mix and they will die in less than three weeks. Only exception is my peace lilies. But then, they don’t always have a flower.
Also coffee. Not just that I drink a lot of coffee, because I do, but also that I tend to forget about it halfway through the cup when I get caught up in something I’m doing and then end up drinking it cold (yes I’m one of those people).
That I re-watch the same shows on tv way to much. But, I just work better with sounds in the background. Sometimes it’s music but more often it’s some show. And yes, it’s old episodes that I’ve seen a hundred times before. If I put on new stuff I get distracted, but old shows is like an old friend. They just make a bit of noise in the background while I work.
That I look cute with my new glasses. Okay, I’m just saying that because I’m still a bit self conscious about my glasses. I’ve had them a few months now, and I’m still getting used to them.
That I’m way to obsessed with my planner. Which is true. I don’t deny it. But the planner is my lifeline for everything.
So yeah, I think that’s the biggest things the plants would talk about if they could.
What would your plants say about you? Let me know in the comments <3
A writer's life
This is the blog where a slightly crazy author writes rambling posts about everything and nothing. There's posts about my books, writing and social media. Posts about cooking and reviews. And there's posts about life and the challenges I have set myself in 2019.
Please notice: I do not earn money on this blog. I do not have affiliated links, and I'm not paid by any product I might mention on this blog. I'm just an artist who loves to blog. If you want to support me, buying one of my books would warm my heart. If they aren't to your taste, then support another indie artist instead.
We could all need your help.
Thank you <3
