I am not a Romance writer, not really. I do write romances sometimes, but to me, the romance is just a way of telling the story. I don’t write for the romance, the romance is just the delivery system. Sounds silly, but that’s the way I see it :P
(Don’t get me wrong. This is not a bash on Romance Writers. I think they are amazing writers that truly burn for the love between their characters, and the only reason I don’t consider myself a Romance writer even when writing romance, is because I’m so not on that level)
But, even when not writing anything Romantic, love often have a way of creeping into my stories. I think it’s because love is such a human emotion, that drives us to do more crazy shit than any other emotion out there.
I often say that my characters have anger issues (which they do) but it’s the love that makes them do the most fucked up things. It’s love that makes them go to war. It’s love that makes them into killers. Anger might be their fuel, but it’s Love that drives them.
What is your favorite Love story?
A writer's life
This is the blog where a slightly crazy author writes rambling posts about everything and nothing. There's posts about my books, writing and social media. Posts about cooking and reviews. And there's posts about life and the challenges I have set myself in 2019.
Please notice: I do not earn money on this blog. I do not have affiliated links, and I'm not paid by any product I might mention on this blog. I'm just an artist who loves to blog. If you want to support me, buying one of my books would warm my heart. If they aren't to your taste, then support another indie artist instead.
We could all need your help.
Thank you <3
